With Comic-Con just a few days away, everyone is expecting "Jurassic World" to have an enormous presence. With more than ten years since the last entry in the "Jurassic Park" franchise, expectations are huge for the sequel.
Luckily, those behind "Jurassic World" seem to realize that, and they've just released the first piece of official "Jurassic World" artwork in anticipation of Comic-Con.
The image shows a velociraptor perched on a Jeep from the original "Jurassic Park," with the Jeep severely damaged. Dinosaurs can be seen being airlifted in the background, along with a giant park under construction. The colors are also noteworthy, with bright primary colors used instead of trying to look photorealistic.
Smaller details also stand out, like the nest of velociraptor eggs hidden under the jeep. Surely, this is a hint that the raptors might be breeding in the next "Jurassic Park" film.
Mark Englert, the artist commissioned to create the poster, described the process of designing and drawing it on his personal blog, which is definitely worth checking out.
In other "Jurassic World" news, it was recently announced that Chris Pratt, who stars as the film's lead character, has just finished shooting the film. The actor recently told Zap2It, "I was doing 'Jurassic World,' but we wrapped at 2 a.m. in New Orlean."
As well, another spoiler report for the film claims that "Jurassic World" will feature a variation on the iconic T-Rex feeding scene from the original film, where a goat was let into the T-Rex paddock, only to be quickly devoured and splattered on the hood of one of the tour Jeeps.
