“Transformers 5” Spoilers: Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura Discusses the Possibility of Featuring Unicorn and Galactus in the Upcoming Sequel

By

After the huge box office success of "Transformers 4: Age of Extinction" last month, fans of the movie are already looking forward to the franchise's upcoming sequel. Movie producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura has given hints on what Transformers 5 has in store for fans.

Bonaventura was asked if new characters will appear on the next movie, specifically Unicorn and Galactus. While the producer did not make it clear whether Unicorn will appear on Transformer 5, he mentioned that the character does not belong to his list of personal favorites.

"Anything's possible," he answered. "Me personally, I don't think Unicorn is interesting at all. Because the scale of it becomes so difficult to be dramatic. I mean, Fantastic Four has their version," Bonaventura added.

The movie producer was also having doubts of having Galactus to appear on the next movie. He described the character as boring. "It's like a giant object. It doesn't have personality in a way - its scale overwhelms things. So, for me, I don't know. Michael is the kind of guy who can probably figure it out. I can't figure it out," he stated.

It was announced earlier this year that the "Age of Extinction" was only the start of the new Transformers series. Reports have been circulating however, that director Michael Bay set the condition of working first on another movie before working on the fifth Transformers movie.

Meanwhile, Bay recently announced that the article "Optimus Dies, Rodimus Rules" is a hoax, IBTimes reports.

While the fourth Transformers movie released last June 27 was a success at the box office, the movie has also met a number of negative comments from critics. Some of the negative reviews include weak plot, overuse of technical elements, and lack of focus on the human characters.
