'Keeping Up' with Rob Kardashian’s weight; reality star enters rehab?

By

It is no secret that the Kardashians are considered a royal family in Hollywood. Millions of people worldwide have been tuning to E! since 2009 and have witnessed their ups and downs as a celebrity family. As we all know siblings Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and their half sisters Kendall and Kylie, Robert Kardashian Jr stands out from the family as the only guy member who has agreed to be filmed for the reality show. The world grew to know Rob as a kind, intelligent and shy member of the Kardashian bunch. Apart from being a famous television personality, he is also a businessman, launching his own sock line "Arthur George" last 2012.

Nowadays, Rob can barely be seen in public due to his extreme weight gain. Hollywood Life said that even his family has admitted that he is "deeply depressed" and "is not in a good place right now". His mom, Kris Jenner, had subtly revealed to the world that her son has "gained 75 pounds in a year."

Because he is a celebrity, he naturally received hate from social media because of his figure. On the other hand, his sisters, especially Khloe, have always backed him up. Khloe defends her brother on Twitter and called her brother's haters "disgusting" and "sickening". Rob definitely feels the love he has from his continuing supporters and sisters by tweeting, "I'm aware that I'm fat that def aint a surprise to me lol and my only therapy will be in the gym anyways had to say somethingggggggggg".

After fending off interventions from his family, a source told In Touch Weekly that he has finally agreed to check into rehab.

The source said, "He's looking at Bridges to Recovery [a California-based facility]. Rob says he's ready to take the first step and he really wants to go," adds the source. "He's never said that before, so everyone thinks it's a good sign."

If the source's claims are true, then this would be good news no doubt to the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Their worry about Rob has somewhat escalated when he was photographed taking sizzurp and weed, Celeb Dirty Laundry said. Sizzurp, or known also as Purple Drank, is an addictive concoction of cough syrup and soda, and sometimes a hard fruit candy like Jolly Rancher is thrown in if one wants it extra sweet.
