The brand new and possibly the final season of Boardwalk Empire has been causing a stir among the fans, as this last installment may seem a tad bid shorter than what they are very well used to, especially when compared to all the previous seasons that have showed. According to Screen Rant, Season 5 of Boardwalk Empire will be suited up for only 8 episodes, as show creator Terrance Winter is expected and tasked to end the show as soon as possible, and of course like other season show finales it has to end up with a big bang, one that will be well remembered even after the season finishes.

Surprisingly though it seems like Winter will not be having that much of a problem if he really does want to go out with a bang for Season 5 because news from Enstarz gets him talking about how some members of the cast are requesting for death to their characters and it seems most are looking into the more gruesome death, the better. Jokingly Winter explains that he may or may have given into some of their requests, but he leaves it at that and expresses that the season will definitely take off from where it had left off with many changes in economy, politics and society, most especially with criminality.

We will see Boardwalk Empire Season 5 on HBO by the 7th of September and from the point of view of Den Of Geek! all the anticipation happening is entirely because the new season finds the characters seven years after the last season, seemingly stuck in a rut with the Depression-era, so many should already expect shaggy looking characters filled with regret. Set in 1931 the Final Season of Boardwalk Empire will make us all see how Nucky Thompson (played by Steve Buscemi) and the rest of his crew finally end up and if they will be getting themselves in for a rude awakening as the episodes transpire.
