Hit reality TV show "Real Housewives of Atlanta" will reportedly have two new characters in its upcoming seventh season.
Rumors are going around that the new additions are Demetria McKinney ("House of Payne") and Claudia Jordan ("Dish Nation").
Both McKinney and Jordan, however, dismissed the reports. "Oh wow that's news to me!" said Jordan. McKinney tweeted, "Lol! I dunno where they get this inf from!"
A report by Straight From The A said that the two may be part of the new season, but have not yet been given contracts by Bravo: "Demetria and Claudia have both been running around town telling people that they are the 'new' Atlanta housewives and Demetria has even revealed to friends that her 'sponsor' Roger Bobb has filmed a few scenes with her and they even 'kissed on camera'... but my sources reveal that neither of them have been offered contracts yet."
There are rumors that Phaedra Parks will no longer be around for the latest season because of her current family issues, but insiders are saying that she's not going anywhere.
Parks is under a lot of stress lately. Her husband Apollo Nida has recently been sentenced to eight years in prison after being found guilty of federal fraud charges like stealing checks and laundering money. They have two children together who are now both under Parks's care.
The cast members who are expected to be back on screen this upcoming season include Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Stewart. They, including Parks, are reportedly in the final stages of contract negotiations.
The show's previous season ended well, getting the highest rating in Bravo's key demos, and having an average of 3.5 million viewers per episode.
"Real Housewives of Atlanta" is set to come out sometime this year under Bravo, but no official premiere date has been released yet.
