The seventh season of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is set to air in November. Here are things that we know about the upcoming season so far.
Phaedra Parks, one of the Bravo show's stars, will reportedly stay with husband Apollo Nida even though he will be in prison.
Nida has been sentenced to eight years in jail after pleading guilty to federal fraud charges. The Epoch Times reported that Nida and his co-conspirators stole checks and used stolen identities in filing fraudulent tax returns and laundered money.
Despite all of this, however, a source said that Phaedra will stay with her man. "Right now, she's with him and that's where things stand. That's her husband and the father of her children and took her vows very seriously."
Hollywood Life also reported that the couple's legal woes would be part of the show's seventh season. A source told the website: "Bravo will be capturing some of Apollo Nida's legal troubles for the show and it will be featured in Season 7. They got some footage with Apollo and Phaedra surrounding the sentencing this week."
The source added that the Parks will definitely be back for season seven. She will be joined by stars Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, and Porsha Williams.
There are, however, some rumors that Porsha and Kenya are finalizing their contracts, and NeNe might leave the show.
"It's like a blessing and a curse. It has definitely opened up doors and opportunities," NeNe said. "I have been able to do some of everything from just being on this platform. But at the same time it can be very negative and very draining and all of things. Bu it can put a lot of money in my pocket. Not just on the show, I'm saying; other things can come to you.
Bravo has not yet officially released a statement on who will stay for the upcoming season.
