Daily Mail reported that Moscow designers Feld and Volk has recently released what is believed to be the new look of the highly-anticipated iPhone 6. The new Apple smartphone, of which Christian Post said would be announced in September and subsequently released the following month, will have a raised camera, volume buttons and the embedded logo on a 4.7-inch screen-size model, the British tabloid has observed from the leaked Instagram photos.
Much of the rumors about the release of iPhone 6 center on the screen size of the device ranging from 4.7 inches to 5.5 inches. It has been reported that Apple plans to release two versions of its iPhone this year with both screen size variants. These new standards will compete with other smartphone makers that are ahead of Apple in marketing phones that have larger displays such as Samsung's Galaxy series and LG's latest G3 phone. Should the images are real proof, then Apple has finally considered addressing the increasing demand in the market for bigger phones.
Apple will also feature in its latest iPhone the TouchID which was first introduced in iPhone 5 and its upgrade 5s. Along with its bigger display, rumors also mention about the use of a durable sapphire display which is a forerunner in terms of strength and scratch-resistance capacities.
Sapphire display, which is currently used for small elements such as camera lens and home button, could not be amply produced because it is prohibitively expensive. However, it has been said that Apple's partnership with GT Advance allowed the Cupertino, California-based company to incite its supplier to produce it in mass volumes. In view of this, there's a high possibility that the iPhone 6 might only be available in 128GB storage, Macrumors reported.
"Recent mockups, alleged schematics, and part leaks have suggested the iPhone 6 will be considerably thinner than the current iPhone 5s, possibly between 6mm and 7mm, and closer in thickness to the iPod touch. The existing iPhone 5s has a thickness of 7.6mm, while the iPod touch measures in at 6.1mm," Macrumors reported.
It is also believed that Apple will install in its latest device a faster and more efficient A8 chi processor. Moreover, it has been suggested that the iPhone 6 will be supported by iOS 8, the same operating system that would be present in future Apple products like iPad and Macbooks.
A recent report from The Wall Street Journal has implied that the company is expected to order in advance somewhere between 70M to 80M units of the 4.7-inch and and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 smartphones to address the expected high consumer demand.
