"Jurassic World" Update: Filming Complete, Trailer to Follow Very Soon [Photo]

"Jurassic World" is officially a wrap- the long-awaited sequel to Steven Spielberg's blockbuster dinosaur franchise has finished filming, and is moving into post-production mode. That means, more time for dinosaur special effects to be perfected, and for the stars to move on to new projects.

That filming had finished on Colin Trevorrow's dinosaur film was announced via Twitter. Trevorrow himself posted a photo on his official Twitter account, showing a "Jurassic World" clapperboard sandwiched between a set of fossilized Tyrannosaurus Rex jaws.

Whether the jaws have any major significance in the film, or are just a prop that happened to be nearby remains to be seen.

Fashion & Style followed up on Trevorrow's Twitter post, claiming that with the production wrapped, we should be seeing a first trailer for "Jurassic World" shortly. So far, any kind of media presence for the film has been almost non-existent- aside from a single poster, there have been no trailers or clips of any kind- not even at San Diego Comic-Con last month, which would have been a perfect venue.

Fashion & Style claims that because "Jurassic World" is such a high-priority film, a trailer would be coming much sooner than a smaller production that would require a much more scaled-down marketing campaign. As such, it's probably best to assume that we'll be seeing our first "Jurassic World" footage sometime in the late fall/early winter of this year- much like the same schedule of this year's biggest monster movie, "Godzilla."

Still, excitement for the film remains high- as we reported last week, star Chris Pratt claims the film will "knock your socks off," and with the "Jurassic Park" name, it's hard to imagine it not being a smashing success.

Be sure to check back soon for updates on "Jurassic World" and its first trailer premiere.
