As the release of "Arrow" Season 3 on October 8 is nearing, a number of spoilers, cast news, and updates have been doing the rounds in the net, KpopStarz reports. Here are some of the details "Arrow" fans should know.
During the San Diego Comic-Con, a trailer for the series' season 3 was released. The teaser video revolved around the five-year period when Oliver Queen was thought dead and the supposed romantic relationship between him and Felicity, his tech-help. The trailer also showed the drama between Oliver and his hired friend, Diggle.
The teaser also highlighted the debuts of Colton Haynes as Arsenal and Brandon Routh as Ray Plamer.
While Haynes has debuted as Roy Harper in the first season of the show, fans have waited long to see Roy suiting up alongside Arrow.
Beginning with the new season's premiere episode, viewers will see the suit of Arsenal as it debuts in the Arrow universe. However, it is unclear whether Haynes will be in the suit as Arsenal. But one sure thing is that Arrow will have a partner wearing a mask.
Arsenal's suit, mask, and bow, are blood-red in color, just like the hoodie that Roy used to wear during the first two seasons of the show. The red hoodie seemed to reveal the fate of his character.
In the last season, it mostly appeared that whenever Roy would suit up, he would be team Arrow's muscle after he was injected with the Mirakuru serum by Deathstroke. The season also showed him always attempting to manage his anger. Come Season 3, however, Roy will be free from Mirakuru.
The series previously added characters that will eventually become "Wildcat," "Katana," and the "Atom." The series is also bringing back Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman).
Other reports claim there will be crossover with "The Flash," a spinoff series, that is slated to start in episode 8.
Recently, it was also reported that David Cubitt will also join the third season as a guest star. The "Medium" star will be playing Mark Shaw, one of the DC comics characters who will go by the name "Manhunter."
"Arrow" Season 3 premieres on October 8 on CW network.
