Los-Angeles based luxury technology site Brikk has announced that they are accepting pre-orders for Apple's upcoming flagship phone, the iPhone 6. Brikk will be offering the iPhone 6 in 14 different variants which feature materials like yellow gold, pink gold, platinum, and diamonds.
The company has put a reservation page on their website, along with the image of a rounder, seemingly larger iPhone that has the rumored external features of the iPhone 6. Brikk did issue a disclaimer about the look and feel of the upcoming flagship phone, which read, "Brikk does not guarantee the specs of the phone or the look and feel of the phone."
A reservation requires a non-refundable deposit of $500, with the remaining payment due once Apple officially releases the iPhone 6 in the market, according to Emirates. The 14 encrusted variants go from $4,495 to $8,795. The company states that each encrusted phone comes with a diamond-embedded certificate of authenticity. It also comes with a one-year warranty. Brikk will ship the first batch of their customized units within four weeks of its release.
Forbes said the iPhone 6 is one of the most highly-anticipated phones this season, with more alleged phone specs leaking out to the media as its reported launch on September 9 approaches. Some of the features discussed include a new design, an A8 CPU, and the new iOS 8 under the hood. According to MacRumors, the new flagship will be using a previous Apple logo trick from 2007, but with Apple's patented liquid metal alloy, a scratch-resistant metal. The new phone is also said to have a lower profile by the edges.
