"Sons of Anarchy's" seventh and final season will pick up 10 days after the brutal murder of Jax Teller's (Charlie Hunnam) wife, Tara (Maggie Siff), it has been revealed. Christian Post cited reports which suggested that Jax is planning to use the motorcycle club for his vengeance on the murderer, who, unknown to him, is his mom Gemma (Katey Sagal).
Christian Post said that according to FX, Season 7 will show Jax i currently detained in jail for violating his parole as he mourns for the unexpected death of Tara. It has been perceived that Jax will be using the full support of SAMCRO at his disposal to set in motion his plans for a "complete and merciless retribution."
Moreover, the title of the premiere episode of "Sons of Anarchy" has been revealed as "Black Widower," which is apt for Jax's state of mind as he is in grief. The pilot episode will show Jax planning his revenge while in prison, and according to Cartermatt.com, the character's actions is expected to be "violent enough to make viewers cringe." However, there are little details as to how Jax intends to make his enemies pay.
International Digital Times said the premiere episode will run for 1 hour and 45 minutes, making it the longest episode in the series yet. Series creator Karl Sutter also revealed to E! Online that the seventh and last season of the show has almost a "throwback" feel.
"What I love about this season is that it sort of goes back in an interesting way to season one in that there's a deep bond and even though Jax is on this bloody path, there is no voice of dissension. They may be worried, they may have doubts, but everyone is containing them because they don't want to undermine what it is he knows he has to do," he continued.
Meanwhile, Inbar Lavi, who played Agent Vee in Fox's "Gang Related" will be joining the cast of "Sons of Anarchy" in its final season, Latin Post reported. She took to Twitter to announce that she will appear on the show.
"Humbled and grateful to have been invited to join the @SonsofAnarchy family on their final ride. Buckle up...," Lavi tweeted on August 9. The post was retweeted by Sutter, but the actress' Twitter account revealed that she would definitely be handling a lot of guns.
Lavi is not the only guest star on the show. Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, and Lea Michelle were also reportedly given guest roles.
The anticipated premiere of "Sons of Anarchy" will be on September 9 on FX.
