Divorce back on for Catherin Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas? Bedford Mansion home on sale for $8.1M as ex-wife Diandra responds

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones appeared to have been giving out signs that they are not heading to divorce. However, is the couple's latest real estate decision indicates that the A-list pair just a thread away from officially splitting?

Despite news of the two finally starting to work things out, more rumors about trouble between the pair resurfaced after the Welsh beauty listed her sprawling Bedford country mansion for $8.1 million. The Daily Mail reports that this New York property became the temporary abode of the actress during her trial separation with Douglas back in August last year.

The two, who married in 2000, decided to temporarily separate due to disagreements about their lifestyle. Celeb Dirty Laundry said that Catherine's heavy smoking is one of the root causes of the marital problems between the pair. Quoting an Enquirer source, the gossip rag wrote, "I think she easily smokes up to two packs a day, and with all the problems Michael has had with cancer, he just can't bring himself to turn a blind eye."

Whatever her real intention is, she seems to be getting flak from Michael's previous wife due to another property-related rumor. Diandra Douglas reportedly dissed the current Mrs. Douglas during an interview for the Daily Mail. When asked if there was any truth about Catherine taking over her house in Majorca, Spain (which she still shares with Michael), Diandra said, "It's not true. Sometimes people say things without the slightest proof."

Things started heating up when the 56-year old, who has been fighting off with her ex over her fair share in the couple's failed marriage, justified her current private lifestyle by saying that she doesn't like showing off. She followed this up with a rather meaningful statement saying, "I've never sold photos or kept money from anything and I've always given everything away to charity."

On the other hand, several news outlets, including Forbes, suggested otherwise that Zeta-Jones dumping the property was actually a clear sign that the two have already worked out their marriage troubles.
