'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2' Confirmed; Meanwhile, Megan Fox Tells Fans to "F*** Off"

By

Whelp, it's official. Michael Bay's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" has made so much money that a sequel has officially been greenlit. The film made $65 million dollars in its opening weekend, which is more than enough to guarantee that a second film will be made.

KpopStarz confirms the news, and adds that Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec, who wrote the first film, will be returning to script the second, along with Michael Bay as a producer. However, director Jonathan Liebesman hasn't been confirmed to return.

What has been confirmed (more or less, anyway), are some new elements coming to "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2."

When speaking to Screen Rant, Liebesman, along with producer Brad Fuller, spoke on including Dimension X in the next "TMNT" film.

"Jonathan Liebesman: F*ck yes.

Brad Fuller: I think what we need to do is we need to see how the movie does.

Jonathan Liebesman: I would love to. I mean it's not up to me. It's up to all of us to decide.

Brad Fuller: But we've talked about those worlds already."

Dimension X, in the Ninja Turtles world, is an alternate dimension full of all kinds of terrifying monsters- most notably, the classic NInja Turtles villain Krang. Krang, as seen in the original "Ninja Turtles" cartoon, was an alien brain in a host body.

Hallels speculates that Krang will, in fact, be part of the sequel, but could also include the fan-favorite characters like Bebop, Rocksteady, or Casey Jones.

However, it's not all positive for the future of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Megan Fox, who starred in the first film, has some unpleasant words for those who didn't like the first film. Here's what she said, according to KpopStarz: "f**ck off."

Not exactly pleasant, is it? But she continued on that particular tangent.

"Let me tell you something about those people," said the "Ninja Turtles" actress. "How much money did 'Transformers 4' make? Exactly. Those people can complain - they all go to the theatre. They're gonna love it - and if they don't love it, they can f*** off, and that's the end of that."

Who knows if those kind of comments will affect the box office for the next "Ninja Turtles" film. We'll find out when it hits theaters in a few years.
