With Marvel Studios enjoying the fruit of their success in film thanks to its various superhero franchises, would it be an absolutely amazing idea if DC Comics start to build their own cinematic universe?
It appears that DC Comics have just taken on the idea as Hallels had revealed that a live-action film adaptation of the "Justice League" has been widely believed to come out by 2017 at least. Although the official list of superheroes who would be making up the "Justice League" has yet to be officially announced, pundits believed that a Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman movie might not happen even if "Batman vs. Superman" does well in the box office.
What is definitely sure for now is that "Justice League" screenplay is currently being worked on by no less than director Zack Snyder. Snyder, who made the revelation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, said then, as quoted by Ecumenical News, "We're deep in the screenplay writing phase. We see eye to eye, Warners and DC and myself, on what the movie is. Literally I'm having fun with the characters I most loved in comics, because they're all monsters or supernatural. Demon, Deadman, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Constantine, the Fluoronic Man, many many others."
On the other hand, the site said that Snyder's latest project would be used by DC Comics as a gauge to whether they will pursue two additional standalone projects, which is that of a Gal Gadot-starred Wonder Woman film and a movie about Jason Momoa as the legendary Aquaman.
And as more and more rumors are piling up for "Justice League," a lot of talk is going along as to who will be playing some of the beloved comic book characters on screen. Movie Pilot has enumerated some of the biggest characters that everyone is waiting for, including AquaMan, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian ManHunter, and Green Arrow. Who will complete the "Justice League" line-up of heroes?
