In the wake of the leak of scandalous photographs circulating online purportedly of Hollywood celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, and Kate Upton, the identity of the alleged hacker has been exposed. Hollywood Life is wishing that the photos having photoshopped, but it appears that some of them are true.
Bryan Hamade, a 27-year old digital specialist from Georgia, is accused of hacking into the stars' iCloud accounts and using their naked photos to earn bitcoins, as reported by Buzzfeed. A spokesperson of the award winning "Hunger Games" actress has since sent to the viral site a statement regarding the leak, which read, "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."
Hamade has since denied the claims, and insisted that the person responsible for all these might be more than one person. Moreover, he also said that he does not have any knowledge about hacking into people's phones, and merely thought on a whim to follow the money to earn something from the leak.
"I am not behind this. It was so stupid - I saw a lot of people posting the actual leaks and bitcoin addresses and I've read a lot about bitcoin and how they're are valuable and I thought, oh cool I'll get free bitcoins," the accused told BuzzFeed.
A photo has been making the rounds online by someone or a group of individuals who insisted that Hamade is the same person based on the personal information from his previous screenshot of his computer. Another photo also emphasized his expertise in coding, despite his claim that he is illiterate in the knowledge.
"I am just an idiot who tried to pull one over on 4chan and lost big time and stupidly left this identifying information. They took my proof and back traced it - it isn't remotely true. I am not a hacker. I have no idea how the hell someone could hack into all those accounts."
