While the other "One Direction" members were busy celebrating with Niall Horan for his 21st birthday, Zayn Malik had been enjoying some private time with fiancée Perrie Edwards in Greece. The couple almost successfully pulled off the private getaway, except fans kept posting on Twitter about their whereabouts.
Fans were quick to notice Malik's absence in Horan's birthday celebration, says KpopStarz.
As "One Direction" has ten days of break from their "Where We Are" tour, Malik used the time to go on a vacation with fiancée Edwards instead of hanging out with the four people he spends most of his time with. Despite Malik's and Edwards' effort to make the Greece vacation a secret, where the "Little Mix" singer reportedly showed off her body in a bikini, Malik allegedly signed an autograph for a fan while on the trip. Entertainment Wise shared that the couple asked fans who recognized them to keep their whereabouts a secret, "just so they can enjoy their holiday in peace." However, Twittersphere ran wild with the whereabouts of the two on Saturday.
Unreality TV says that the couple is back in London after the trip that included Edwards' cousin and other family members. Photos from the trip has also started to emerge, adds the article. A different Unreality TV article adds that the couple could have been looking for venues and honeymoon destinations while on their private vacation. Malik and Edwards has been engaged since August 2013, but Malik has been busy with "One Direction's" tour and recently released fourth studio album, aptly titled "Four" while Edwards' "Little Mix" band is working on their third album.
Though there is still no date set for the couple's wedding, or news about Edwards' wedding gown design, according to Inquisitr, the engaged couple has spent time with Edwards' family, who had allegedly shown Malik Edwards' baby photos.
According to KpopStarz, this isn't the first time that Malik hasmissed an event with his bandmates for Edwards. Malik was allegedly absent on Louis Tomlinson's mother's wedding because the singer opted to go camping with Edwards.
Malik and the rest of "One Direction" will be flying back to Los Angeles in September 11.
