Since the start of production for the upcoming "Divergent" film, "Insurgent," last May, fans who have yet to read the Veronica Roth novels are looking to discover spoilers for the upcoming movie of the dystopian cinematic franchise. According to Hallels, "Insurgent," which will be released in March 2015, will mainly focus on the romance between protagonists Tris and Four. Theo James and Shailene Woodley are set to reprise their roles from "Divergent."
Reportedly adding onto the dynamic of the movie is a suspected love triangle courtesy of a character named Edgar. Edgar, which will be played by Jonny Weston of "Project Almanac" fame, will purportedly get into a romantic relationship with Tris. The news may not come as a surprise, but KpopStarz said some fans have failed to see the point of making the story complicated between Four and Tris. Some of the fans who have been quoted from a Goodreads thread claimed that the tension between Four and Tris is already perfect and adding an intruder can make things far too complicated for the film series.
One Goodreads user wrote, ""Honestly, I think there's so much going on between Four and Tris that adding any one else would ruin it. They get through it. They're perfect for each other. Their love is so much stronger with out anyone but each other. I honestly wish they would stay as close to the book as possible while they make this movie because its already amazing."
On the other hand, it has been reported that James is set to be a breakout star as there have been news of him to get not just one, but a series of spinoffs based on his movie character. His spinoff project is set to happen after all four movies in the "Divergent" have been finished filming. Enstarz said that James' supposed planned departure from the series is because of the fact that the actor would be too old to play a 16 year-old character.
