Walking Dead Season 2 to be released in Xbox and PS4, Season 3 release date rumored to be delayed further

By

After the much success of Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 5, gamers can no longer wait for the release of "Walking Dead" Season three. But before any release date was given for Season 3, TellTale announced that it will release The Walking Dead Seasons one and two in other last-gen consoles-PS3, PS4, XB1, PSVita and X360 according to Gamespot.

Dread Central also added that there is no news if TellTale would also release the game for the upgraded hardware. Moreover, a release window is still not yet given when Kevin Bruner, Telltale Games President and Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead creator, faced the media on a panel interview during the Comic Con in San Diego.

The delay in the release of Walking Dead Season 3 is probably due to the fact that Telltale are still busy finishing up the work for "Tales from the Borderlands" and "Game of Thrones" game, both due for release this year.

Telltale have reassured the avid gamers, during their Comic Con interviews, that there will be a Season 3 for the Walking Dead game and the release date will be sometime in 2015. But given the fact that they are keeping the estimate on when the game would be out, there is much speculation that Walking Dead season 3 might even be due early in 2016.

On the other hand, Shack News believed that the delay on any information regarding the release date or storyline for Walking Dead season 3, which is very unlike them, is "a good indicator that they're holding their cards very close to their chest in regards to how this season of The Walking Dead will end." And despite some let downs in the characters in the final episode for Season two, "there's no denying that it's shaping up for a tense finale. What the finale entails, however, is ripe for speculation."
