“Sister Wives” News: The Browns Win at Court but Don’t Go to Church?

By

Stars of the hit TLC TV Show "Sister Wives" Kody Brown and his four wives can now sleep well as their long pending case in court has now ruled in their favor. Represented by Jonathan Turley, the Browns are now able to head back to their home in Utah after having to leave because of the polygamy law incident that has left them to continue on with their family life as it should. Entertainment Weekly mentions that the browns continued to battle this long pending case and are very happy about the court ruling, Kody Brown is even quoted to saying, "The entire Brown family is gratified and thankful for this final ruling from Judge Waddoups. The decision brings closure for our family and further reaffirms the right of all families to be free from government abuse."

According to The Salt Lake Tribune the case against the Browns oddly is an exemplary issue that did not even charge any of the family members with some of the probable cases related to polygamy like deception, fraud or even having multiple marriage licenses. This easily made the Brown's case an unconstitutional ban to their family scenario that did not even exhibit any signs of being unlawful and law breaking.

Moving forward from their case at court, the Browns are certainly still getting themselves into intrigue as currently their religion has been set to be not as it seems to be, as Enstarz revealed that the family has not been able to actively practice since they left Utah. The Browns have been open about being members to the Apostolic United Brethren (AUB) but have not really been able to keep their religion at par compared to the time when they were still living at Utah. A spokesperson from the AUB who was interviewed stated that the Browns have practiced a "peripheral relationship" with them since they left back in 2010.
