'Suits', the USA Network's series of hypocrisy, mind-bombing mysteries inside law firms, enters on a deeper relationship scenarios focusing on romance and friendship this coming Season 4. We have spoilers basing on the midseason finale; a prior warning for the viewers.
We all know that Louis confronted Jessica due to her lies regarding Mike's Harvard status, and before the season, which ended as a cliffhanger -- concludes, three words have flashed on the screen: "Pearson. Specter. Litt." Consequently, Aaron Korsh, series' executive producer and creator, stated that Jessica was on an "interesting position", as he stated on an interview by TV Line.
"Jessica does not take kindly to being threatened. We've definitely established that. On the other hand, if someone's pointing a gun at her from 10 feet away right at her head, she's not going to run at them just to get a bullet shot in her brain," the EP begins. "So she's in an interesting position, as is Harvey, Mike, Louis, Donna and Rachel."
Korsh was further asked what will be the fate of Louis, who threatened Jessica on the past season, and Donna after their conflict. "Well, it is Suits, you know. You can almost look at it like they're a family - maybe a little bit of a dysfunctional family, but a family, and Louis is feeling utterly betrayed and heartbroken and angry," he said while laughing.
"He has a leg to stand on in his feeling that way. He's justified feeling that way. On the other hand, Donna and he did have a powerful friendship," he continues. However, Korsh stated that their wounded relationship has a possibility to be mended. "It wasn't all based on a lie and she's going to fight to make him understand that," he ended.
Meanwhile, Harvard's college scholarship recipient, Mike Ross (Patrick Adams), might find it's way to heal his romance with Rachel and their love could be continued. "I think the way forgiveness works is you can make a decision to forgive someone. It's a process," the EP, who is careful of not spoiling too much, explains. "So I like to think that they're in a better place now, but it remains to be seen. We haven't really figured that out yet in the back six."
"Suits" Season 4 might air back sometime in the first quarter of 2015, as speculated. Previously, however, USA Network had announced the renewal for fifth season.
What do you think will happen to both Louis and Donna, and Mike and Rachel's relationships?
