Famous for being part of Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora keeps himself busy through lending out his talents for the sake of other artists like him. Recently, he had performed with guitarist Orianthi as they pitched in for the entertainment at Midnight Mission's Golden Heart Gala held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Midnight Mission is a group who is said to help those who have lost everything and offer ways to bring back the life they once had.
WebProNews reported that Sambora and Orianthi were asked to help in honoring "Star Wars" actress, Carrie Fisher; Arlene Van Dyke, wife of 2005 Gold Heart honoree, Dick Van Dyke; and Denise Salazar, Sambora's longtime executive assistant. They were awarded for their notable contributions to the organization.
According to KPopstarz,in a statement that Sambora gave to Life Magazine earlier this year, Sambora talked about his relationship with ex bandmate Jon Bon Jovi. Sambora left Bon Jovi in April 2013. He said, "There is no bad blood with me anymore, I love Jon and I still see the possibility of a return. There are just a few steps that I want to - I need to take."
Needless to say, there have been a lot of speculation of Sambora's return to the band. Fashion and Style reported that despite being replaced by Phil X in the band's "Because We Can" tour, Jon admitted that Bon Jovi will never be the same without Sambora. It is rumored that the cause of Sambora's departure is a feud between Bon Jovi and Sambora.
In addition, Fashion and Style reported that Richie plans to make an album with the band again but thinks that touring in so many different countries is something that he does not want to take on soon. In a February interview with NJ.com, Sambora said, "I've done a lot of wrong things in my life and I've regularly made bad decisions, but I think this step was the right one at last."
Bon Jovi fans have to stay tuned and see if Sambora really does return with the band soon.
