'Star Wars: Episode VII' News: Daniel Craig to have a cameo role? Roger Moore visits set and reveals something about 'mountains and snow'

By

There is still over a year before the highly anticipated premiere of "Star Wars: Episode VII," but as of now, the film is already creating news because of its powerhouse cast that gets a new addition. One of the names recently linked to the upcoming movie is Daniel Craig from the "James Bond" franchise.

Craig is reported to appear on "Episode VII" for a cameo role.

According to a report by The Verge, the Bond actor visited the movie's set at Pinewood Studios last week for two days of shooting. A part of the report reads, "Daniel is close friends with JJ Abrams. He asked for some sort of secret cameo role - and was happy to have his name left off the posters."

Meanwhile, another Agent 007 visited the set. Former "James Bond" star Roger Moore recently dropped by to see his friend, "Star Wars: Episode VII" director J.J. Abrams. In an interview with BBC Radio, Moore shared his experience during his visit on the set, but he was a little careful on dishing out details.

In the interview's transcript, Moore dished out that the production was "filming something with a lot of mountains and snow."

This came as a confirmation of previous rumors that the movie will feature a mountainous ice planet. A report by Badass Digest talked about the opening of the movie mentioned about the ice planet:

"So begins a quest to find the missing Jedi Master. Meanwhile, on an ice planet, nefarious forces are building a super weapon, one capable of destroying not planets, but entire solar systems ... In many ways this plot of Episode VII is an echo of A New Hope. Instead of R2 coming to Tatooine it's a hand falling from the sky, but the basic sweep of the story is similar, and intentionally so. But things that seem familiar may not be as familiar as you think - don't assume that every ice or desert planet in the galaxy has already been visited, if you know what I'm saying."

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is scheduled for release in December 2015.
