Post-apocalyptic role-playing video game 'Fallout' is set to release its fourth installment of the main series with an undecided date on Xbox One consoles.
Erik Dellums, who voiced over on the previous Fallout series, posted on Twitter about the game's upcoming installment saying, "To all my #Fallout3 and #ThreeDog fans: There may be more of the Dog coming! Fingers crossed!" Erik has been continuously sending out hints and teasers on his social media more often. Meanwhile, Peter Hines, Vice President of Bethesda Softworks's Public Relations explained the reasons of developing the highly anticipated game; but he did not disclose any date, for he is evidently unsure of it.
"The whole reason we went out and acquired the license and that we now own Fallout is that we clearly intended to make more than one," he starts. "When that will be or how long that will be God only knows, but we acquired it specifically because we wanted to own it and develop it and work on it like we do with The Elder Scrolls." His strong statement can be conclusive that the release date would not be very much closer to what people expects.
Bethesda, further, posted another impactful statement on their Twitter account that reveals their uncertainties saying, "PSA: If you don't hear it through an official channel like this, assume all rumors and speculation are false."
Despite the recent announcements of the developers and Dellums' fosters, the players are quite enraged after the inevitable delays on the game's release date. The game has been on its creating process since 2012, and none from Bethesda has revealed a tentative launching. However, they have been working on the game-play, they're speculated to improve its challenges, tasks and who knows, there might be a possible new player. With the developer's silence on the game's launching date, it is safe to say that this could be the best work they are by far, creating.
Considering the limited information the developers announced, do you think 'Fallout 4' may be released this year, or probably next year? Share your thoughts and insights below.
