'Outlander' will not be back for several months after its mid-season finale would be hanging their series' fans on the story of Claire and Jamie's love story.

The season's mid-season finale brings up the love triangle between Jamie (Sam Heughan), Frank and Claire. She is now married on both guys, but the question remains on who will she pick on the next episode. The official synopsis, meanwhile, reads, "Claire (played by 34-year old model, actress Caitriona Balfe) attempts to adapt to her new marriage, while Frank (portrayed by Tobias Menzies) undertakes a desperate search for his missing wife. Later, a fate-changing opportunity presents itself to Claire, placing her in an emotional quandary."

On a promotional video, Starz network reveals Frank Randall's seek on his wife, a treated culprit by the society for being married on two men. This, however, could lead to the season's main climax. What may arise on the next episode?

TV Line reported on the Ask Ausiello segment of the hints that would be featured on the highly anticipated Starz series, which was adapted on Diana Gabaldon's novel of the same name. "First, pace yourself. You've got one episode to savor before the midseason hiatus. Second, if you haven't read the books, this next bit is a spoiler. Proceed accordingly," in parts, the revelation begins. "Third, how about a little intel on Season 2? The Starz series is casting Brianna Randall, whom fans of Diana Gabaldon's novels know is Jamie and Claire's 20-year-old daughter. Bree - who was raised in Boston and who calls Frank Randall her dad - is smart, strong-minded, practical, funny and stunningly beautiful (like her folks)."

With the inclusion of Jamie and Claire's daughter, Bree's father is set to bring emotions on an undisclosed upcoming episode, where he is fatally injured. "We checked in with Sam Heughan just as he was wrapping the second half of Season 1. As book readers know [SPOILER ALERT!], Jamie suffers some spirit- and body-crushing injuries toward the end of the novel; as such, Heughan said viewers of the Starz adaptation should brace themselves. "It just gets stronger and stronger in the last few episodes - not just Wentworth Prison, which is very intense and I'm very pleased with how it's come out. I think it's going to be some insane viewing."

'Outlander' mid-season finale episode, entitled "Both Sides Now", airs on Saturday, September 27 at 9:00 pm EST.
