While in his first solo fan meeting in Japan, CNBlue member and actor, Jung Yong-hwa revealed that he is currently working on a solo album, KpopStarz reports. Japanese fans of the Korean boy band member were also thrilled after he announced that he is also preparing for a solo concert.

Jung held his first solo fan event entitled "Sweet melody in Japan" on September 23, which was attended by thousands of fans of the K-Pop band singer.

The 25-year-old FNC talent performed some of his best songs, including "You've Fallen for Me," "Feeling," "Monday," and "Try Again, Smile Again." His newest song, "Should I come to You" was a crowd favorite.

According to Korea Herald, Jung also entertained the fans by imitating some romantic songs in the hit drama "Heartstrings."

The event also showed video clips from his friends in the entertainment industry including MBLAQ's Lee Joon, singer IU, and actress Yoon Eun-hye.

After his performance at the fan event, Jung said, "I am getting ready for a solo album, and will hold a solo concert as well."

The singer thanked all the fans who came to watch and suggested that he wants to have a world tour to meet him and CNBlue's fans all over the world.

Jung is not only a well-loved K-Pop idol, but also an actor. As KdramaStars noted, he is "a man of many talents." The idol-turned-actor has been caste in several Korean dramas including Park Shin Hye-starrer "You're Beautiful" and "Heartstrings," as well as "Future's Choice" and in "Gentleman's Dignity" for a cameo role.

His recent acting stint includes the current Korean TV drama adaptation of the classic "The Three Musketeers." He plays Park Dal Hyang, an idealistic troubadour serving a crown prince who married the character's love interest.

According to KdramaStars, Jung's management company, FNC Entertainment, has already announced in March 2014 about plans for the singer's first solo album. An FNC spokesperson reportedly said Jung will be writing the songs and will be producing the album as well.
