Well, this is the most disappointing "Friends" reuinion ever. According to Classicalite, the three female stars of NBC's landmark sitcom "Friends"- Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow- recently met up for a dinner date at the Sunset Tower Bar, a hip, upscale restaurant with a retro style.
At the time of their lunch, Lisa Kudrow also tweeted the words "20 years ago..." commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the unbelievably popular sitcom.
As well, the three recently reunited in August, when they did a skit together for "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where they hung out in an apartment that was made up to look like Monica (played by Cox)'s apartment on "Friends."
But aside from this, what we're really lacking is an actual "Friends" reunion. Not just this wishy-washy stuff. And despite the continued meet-ups between Phoebe, Monica and Rachel, everything we have about an actual "Friends" reunion is just rumor for now.
For example: Courtney Cox have recently been picking fights with each other (before- or after- this dinner date, presumably) about a supposed botox job done by Cox, to impress her much younger boyfriend. And KDrama Stars claims that their argument (apparently, it's gotten so bad that they don't even want to be around each other) has interrupted rumored plans for a "Friends" reunion.
KDrama Stars has a quote from the National Enquirer on the matter:
"Courteney is furious at Jen for taking a backhanded slap at her appearance. When Courteney called Jen on her nasty dig, Jen fired back that Courteney should act her age and stop trying so hard to impress her young boyfriend. Jen told Courteney that women who don't allow themselves to age naturally and gracefully are pathetic. They're both sore right now. But knowing Jen and Courteney's tempestuous history, they'll kiss and make up eventually."
So even if the rumors are true... we wouldn't be getting new "Friends" anytime soon.
