Gwen Stefani and Husband Gavin Rossdale Collaborate in 'The Voice' Season 7: Fought Like Cats and Dogs?

By

No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani was given the opportunity to work for "The Voice" replacing judges Shakira and Christina Aguilera. This happened after she just gave birth to her youngest son Apollo (currently 7 months). As Stefani stepped out to join the hit TV reality talent show, she has reportedly been very happy and excited to join the likes of her co-judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and fellow newcomer judge, Pharrell Williams.

According to Fashion & Style, reports have speculated that she and husband (and Bush frontman) Gavin Rossdale, who served as advisor to her group of singers, had a lot of differences that they had to deal with while working together. Apparently, the time they spent working together was a situation that made them fight like cats and dogs.

News from Classicalite details that Stefani admits that there has not been anything that she and her husband have ever done together other than have kids and raise them, which leaves much to say as they collaborated together for "The Voice" both as newcomers. Stefani was even quoted as saying, ""It was awkward...We literally got into a fight the night before."

The 12-year-relationship between Rossdale and Stefani was a task that seemed to have been very well-tested as Gavin become Gwen's voice coach for "The Voice" Season 7 and their first experience on a hit TV show and as co-workers was an experience that was not easy.

Sources from KPop Starz even quote Stefani about working with her husband, "The first couple who came through, I was so nervous. I wasn't nervous because of being on the show. I was nervous because I was sitting next to him. He's smart. He's so musical. You play different roles for different people in your life - and I'm his wife, so it was weird. But it was awesome and really, really fun to do that with him."
