Jessica Jung's exist from SNSD doesn't only affect her, but also her sister, Krystal Jung of f(x). Being both under contract from SM Entertainment, Krystal's career may also be affected by Jessica's continuing word war with the management and her former group members.

Jessica is not remaining silent about her being ousted from SNSD by SM Entertainment and her statements on her Weibo account does not help, says KpopStarz. In her statement, she said: "Up until the beginning of August when I was launching 'BLANC', I had received agreement and permission from SM, and congratulations from the members as well." Jessica continued, "However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting, and told me to either quit my business of leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason."

KpopStarz reveals that Jessica's sister, Krystal, have known about the issue within her sister's group before it was publicly revealed on September 30. The article noted that in the show featuring the sisters, "Jessica & Krystal," the younger sister prepared a surprise event for Jessica with a note saying that she will always be on Jessica's side. "I'm so glad to have you on my side. I'm always on your side too. Thank you, always. Let's stop crying now," Krystal's message read. The article says that Jessica immediately cried when she saw the note.

Krystal is also under SM Entertainment, although from a different group called "f(x)". However, with Jessica continuing to speak publicly about the circumstances of her removal from the group, Krystal's career may be affected as well. Allkpop says the show "Jessica & Krystal" was allegedly planned for a second season, but has apparently been affected by Jessica leaving Girls' Generation. Moreover, an album by the sisters has supposedly been shelved. Jessica is still signed on to SM Entertainment, and they will continue to manage her entertainment career.

According to Asia One, Jessica was the first of the nine members of Girls Generation to have signed in with SM Entertainment. "Jessica Sooyeon Jung was street-casted by SM Entertainment when she was 11, after which her family moved to South Korea," the article explained. Jessica eventually debuted with the group in 2007. Jessica is also the main singer of the group.

As for the remaining eight members of the group, Girls' Generation member Taeyeon has allegedly expressed her side in a fan event in China, saying that she only moved to protect Girls' Generation.
