'God of War 4' PS4 Release Date sets on 2015 or 2016 entailing Norse mythology; Will Kratos die in the hands of Thor as franchise ends?

The highly anticipated 'God of War 4' is set to slate soon on PlayStation 4 consoles, with no conclusive date. However, the upcoming sequel would probably be the greatest Sony Computer Entertainment and Santa Monica Studio's release so far.

'God of War 3' was a huge success after it was launched on 2010. In addition, the market increase on the game's developers and producers hopped on its peak after the seventh installment, and prequel of the series -- 'Ascension' - released on PlayStation 3 early this March.

However, since the E3 2014 disappointment, where gamers thought the developers were to announce the much awaited release date, fans are getting more frenzy on it nowadays; some says it will come on 2015 or 2016.

People are very much expecting a lot from the developers now that Kratos, the game's protagonist, was featured fighting with Greek mythology (include Ares and Zeus). However, there are speculations that the story arc of the 'God of War 4' would still entail mythology; but this time on Norse mythology.

Despite that Sony has not confirmed anything about this plot, nor the release date, rumors that the fictional character, Kratos, would die on the upcoming installment. There were statements on several fans that Thor, a Norse mythological god who is equipped with his Mjolnir hammer, will demise the well-known protagonist. Another speculation says that Kratos' family will be under the state of Thor's hands. If this so, we might be seeing a Thor and Kratos intense battle coming.

Sony's flagship game is expected to launch with new, better, and higher resolution upgrades -- particularly on vast cinematic displays. Moreover, bigger and stronger enemies must be added on the game, as antagonist updates are very vital for any flagship video game.
