Tracy Morgan might not be able to perform again says lawyer; Walmart responds to lawsuit and blames the accident on Morgan and friends

It seems that doctors still can't say if Tracy Morgan will be able to perform and act again says his lawyer Benedict Morelli in an interview reported by AllMediaNY. "The doctors don't know the answer. I don't know the answer", says Morgan's lawyer.

Morelli says that it's too early to tell if Morgan can get back his old life. He adds that these past four months has been hard on Morgan since he has lost jobs for television and films.

It was four months ago when horrific car accident happened. A Walmart tractor-trailer collided with the limo of Tracy Morgan and friends, who just have finished a comedy show at Delaware Casino. Morgan and two of his friends in the limo were put in critical condition and injuries while comedian James "Jimmy Mack" McNair was killed.

Morgan is still confined to a wheelchair and is trying to recover from a critical brain injury which resulted from the accident with the use of physical therapy, daily speech, and cognitive vocational rehabilitation programs.

He even managed to make a statement when Walmart decided to put the blame of the accident on Morgan and his friends. "After I heard what Walmart said in court I felt I had to speak out. I can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused", Morgan said. He goes on to say that, "My friends and I were doing nothing wrong."

Walmart responded to the lawsuit filed by Morgan and his friends last month claiming that the injuries were brought on by the plaintiffs not wearing their seatbelts.

Walmart spokeswoman Brooke Buchanan says, "While we were required to respond to the lawsuit, we have also taken steps to encourage settlement discussions. Our thoughts continue to go out to everyone involved, and we remain commited to doing what's right."
