"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes admitted that she was shocked and felt hurt about Teresa Giudice's life sentencing plea. Giudice is set to face more than a year of life sentencing due to fraud charges.
NeNe Leakes spoke to E! Online that she felt sorry for Giudice's life sentencing. As Teresa's friend, she divulged that it makes her feel sad for her co-star. "I probably felt the same way about Teresa as I did about Apollo...And just being a part of that, sometimes you have to sit and think, 'Gosh I did not know my life would even take me these places or around these people," the crestfallen television personality spoke.
She, further, stated that she feels the same thing about co-star Phaedra Parks' husband Apollo Nida's eight years of life sentencing.
"And you form a connection with these people and you like them. And I just hurt for Teresa and I hurt for Apollo and I hurt for Phaedra. It's sad! Because how I see it is they are good people," the Glee star said. "I know they broke the law but I still see them as good people and I hate that they have to go away for so long. It's so hurtful."
Meanwhile, Leakes has something to say to Andy Cohen, who is the boss of the Bravo's "RHOA" franchise. Days prior to the trial, Cohen joked about Giudice's life sentencing on Watch What Happens Live. "You have to know Teresa to understand where she's coming from," NeNe begins.
"Sometimes you can tell people something over and over and over again and they just don't get it. Because I know her, I know that she just did not get it."
Meanwhile, Porsha Williams is demoted from series regular on the upcoming "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 7. Andy Cohen, according to People, demanded Williams to drop his character to a "recurring role" because of her previous attitude, where she initiated the talked about brawling on the reality show.
"Unfortunately, I can only be PORSHA, and portraying anything else, would not be genuine nor honest," Williams said.
