Amanda Knox, Raffaele Sollecito and Rudy Guede had been on the primary lists of the people who murdered Meredith Kercher on the apartment in Italy.
Meredith Kercher was found lying on a bed of blood in her room. There have been reports that Guede was the one who killed the British student, who moved from Coulsdon, London to Perugia. Thereafter Guede was convicted on October 2008, names of Knox and Sollecito became two of next eyed suspects of the crime.
Basing on the evidence proposed by Independent, the bra clasp, which includes a DNA sample of Raffaele Sollecito leads to the former-couple being identified as part of the crime scene. However, the piece of metal was spotted 47 days after Kercher's body was found. Thus, making leading to the DNA sample being irrelevant as it might be contaminated from foot steps of careless police investigators.
In addition, another evidence that must be focused is the knife. According to the site, the knife includes Knox's alleles. Considering that it came from Sollecito's flat, will it still be conclusive to suggest that this knife was used for killing Kercher during the fateful night of November 1? Many believe, however, that the knife has a scratch on its surface that could lead to a clue pointing against the Knox's defence team.
Basing on both metals being tested days after, there are theories that these were possibly contaminated and that the samples aren't subjective to conclusive accuracy.
According to Telegraph, this evidence points out that she and his boyfriend are the masterminds of this nightmare are chained to a possible framed incident.
If the case is somewhat unjustifiable, then why is that the footprints on Knox's bedroom compatible with Sollecito's DNA? The footprints -- which are subjective to blood spots -- were identified by the use of the chemical Luminol. These samples were present on the bath mat and in the corridor, respectively.
On the contrary, the forensic findings may be another result of inaccuracy. There are possibilities that the footprints may be from either Sollecito or Rudy Guede, an Ivory-coast native drug dealer.
Previously, when Knox undergone series of interviews and during her trial, her behavior was told to be odd and inappropriate. Hence, this might suggest Knox being drug abusive.
Having the three main evidences -- bra clasp, kitchen knife and footprints -- that are subjective to theorize on both Raffaele Sollecito and Amanda Knox's presence, these could also lead to the need of the court to undergo further investigations. Is Knox under drug influence, and could not further deliver conclusive pleas or is the Italian court being unjustifiable on several matters?
Italy's highest court -- Court of Cassation in Rome -- will reignite the battle between both defence team (comprised of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito) and the prosecutors. It is safe to say that Meredith Kercher's murder case nears its conclusion.
