James Bond, for all his international appeal, spent the majority of his last adventure in the UK (other than a brief portion in China). But the latest Bond film, "Bond 24" (the film's codename until director Sam Mendes announces the actual title) will be setting out for more international shores.
Enstars reports that a production office in Rome, Italy has taken up by the "Bond 24" team, which would most likely mean that the film is shooting in Italy. Which, according to Enstars, was also one of the rumored locations for the film (other rumored locations- Austria and Morocco).
What we don't know, however, is what 007 will be doing in Rome- although, according to mi6-hq.com, he might be spending most of his Italian vacation in a car- they claim that a Rome shoot would primarily be a car chase sequence.
According to Enstars, the Bond girl for "Bond 24" might be just as international as the setting- as apparently the filmmakers have been testing a number of Scandinavian actresses to play James Bond's latest love interest. However, Rihanna was also rumored to be the Bond girl this time around, so the producers might not be exclusively interested in Scandinavian Bond girls.
But according to a piece in OK!, Rihanna might still be in the film- just not as the Bond girl. They're claiming that the singer might be in charge of the film's theme song, as Adele was for Skyfall, but she may also have a quick cameo role in the film. It's no starring role, but then it might be in Bond's best interest, as Rihanna isn't exactly a trained actor. Remember "Battleship?" Not her finest hour.
007 might be better off with one of those Scandinavian actresses.
