It's confirmed. "Super Junior" member Lee Sungmin and Kim Sa Eun will be getting married on December 13, making him the first of his band to tie the knot. SM Entertainment has spoken up about the marriage and maintained Sungmin as an active member of the group.
MSN reports Sungmin and Kim Sa Eun having a Gangnam wedding hall reserved for their wedding on December 13 after several Korean websites posted the news. Additionally, a source apparently told 247 Asian Media that the private wedding will be in Seoul, specifically at Yeoksam wedding hall in The Raum.
The couple is reported to have met in the musical "The Three Musketeers" where they worked together this year. However, it was only in September that they went public with their relationship.
While Golden 8 Entertainment, Kim Sa Eun's agency, has previously denied the marriage rumors by saying that Kim is following her schedules, The Korea Times has the 29-year-old musical actress' management confirming the news on Tuesday. Meanwhile, SM Entertainment, Sungmin's agency, has expressed their congratulations, shares Allkpop.
The Korea Times also adds that SM Entertainment said the marriage will not affect Sungmin's activities as part of "Super Junior."
However, there is the question of how Sungmin will be able to perform his obligations since he will be fulfilling his mandatory military service soon. Despite this, it didn't seem to stop him from confirming the news via his blog. In his own writing: "I've met a good person and will be getting married on December 13." Sungmin also expressed his apologies for not being able to break the news to his fans himself after the media announced it before him. In his post published by allkpop, Sungmin addresses ELF, the "Super Junior" fans club, saying, "I want to say how much I love and feel sincerely thankful towards everyone who has stood by my side like a shadow and watched me grow and cheered me on."
