"Girls' Generation" TaeTiSeo reacts to Jessica Jung incident, asks fans to believe in them again; What's in store for "Girls' Generation" without Jung?

The remaining members of Korean girl ground "Girls' Generation" have expressed their side on the ousting of Jessica Jung from the group.

According to Asia One, a sub-unit of the group called TaeTiSeo held a fan meeting on Wednesday and with it being the first public appearance of the members after the news of Jung's removal from the group, it was the first time that their voices were heard about the issue. The group, comprised of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun, reportedly shed tears for the incident.

Taeyeon was also noted saying, "We've only wanted to protect 'Girls' Generation.' We're sorry. Please believe in us one more time." In another event in Shenzhen, China held on Tuesday, Seohyun was supposedly seen crying while the other members looked emotional.

When Jung told her statement about being forced out of the group, she had brushed up on the issue of her starting her own fashion line, which was allegedly the reason for her dismissal from "Girls' Generation." According to Hollywood Take, "Jung maintained that both her management SM Entertainment and the other 'Girls' Generation' members approved of BLANC at first. But only a month after the fashion line's launch, SNSD told Jung she would have to choose between the brand and her business." Jung said in her statement that she allegedly met with the agency's CEO on September 16 and supposedly received confirmation of their support. However, on September 29 she was ousted from the group.

SM Entertainment seems to have a different statement, as allkpop has the agency saying that Jung was the first to show her intentions of leaving the group.

Despite what seems to be differing statements on the incident, Hellokpop reminds that Jung is still under SM Entertainment and the agency will still manage her solo activities. Meanwhile, "Girls' Generation" will be an eight-member group. Hellokpop also adds that what surprised fans about the news was the earlier confirmation that the members, including Jung at the time, had renewed their contracts.
