Singing superstar Beyonce took Twitter by storm following the reveal of her new hairstyle. The pop star showed her unusually short bangs as she arrived at the Gare du Nord Station in Paris, France Tuesday afternoon, E! Online reports.

Her new strange hairstyle easily caught attention especially after she was pictured. After the photos were uploaded online, there were a flood of reactions and comments from the Twitter community.

Twitter user@IAmNiaRich tweeted, "Ya seen Beyonce new bangs?! Shorter than my temper..."

"Everyone's outraged because Beyonce got super short bangs. I for one think Blue Ivy did a great job," another user commented.

User @Dannyonce wrote "This is a both hard & emotional time for the Beyhive. Please respect our privacy at these difficult times & please pray for Beyonce's bangs," and "let's all just have a prayer circle for Beyonce's bangs."

The New Zealand Herald reported that some fans even went comparing her new bangs to that of the doll Annabelle from a recent horror movie. The doll has long blonde hair and a short fringe which Twitter users quickly compared to Beyonce's new hairdo.

Twitter user @queenJada- tweeted, "Beyonce bang really does look exactly like Annabelle's lmao I'm in tearsss."

Other users even posted photos of Beyonce with her short bangs side by side the famous horror doll.

Moreover, an article by Yahoo! noted that the pop star could be wearing a wig.

The website also said that despite negative comments thrown at the singer, it is another publicity win for her. It also added that it is "some more hair inspiration to look at."

Meanwhile, an article from People noted that Beyonce "rarely keeps her hairstyles for more than a few days at a time."

In connection to this, Jezebel editor Erin Gloria Ryan pointed out, "Remember when Beyonce had a pixie cut for like 3 days and then her hair was long again."
