Tori Spelling Meets With Dean McDermott's Ex to Talk About His Cheating- But Is it All a Paid Publicity Stunt?

By

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's relationship is not in a great place right now. While the second season of "True Tori" is about to arrive, it was also revealed that McDermott had cheated on Spelling multiple times during the course of their relationship. Obviously, that's led to some tough times for the two of them.

But now, things are getting worse- Spelling recently had lunch with Mary Jo Eustace, McDermott's ex-wife, to catch up on their mutual cheater. McDermott had initially been with Eustace, then cheate on her with Spelling, then broken up with Eustace, married Spelling, and then cheated on her as well.

Much of the lunch, according to Hollywood Life, consisted of Tori confessing her upset feelings about her husband's infidelities:

"It's just hard to think he can tell someone this one day, and then months later, it just changes so drastically," said Spelling.

"When you start a relationship with someone, you don't know the other person they're involved with," she said. "You have one story that's painted for you, and you painted a pretty accurate portrait of him. You did tell me, 'This is what I know from my relationship,' and it all become true in my relationship. You can say, 'I told you so.'"

However, things got weird when Mary Jo shot a little bit of an insult towards Spelling- "I don't hate Dean. He's a total knob. He's your knob now."

However, some people have been questioning the motives behind this meet-up. At The Stir, the rumor is that Eustace and Spelling were faking the whole thing (in fact, they think that the entirety of Spelling and McDermott's relationship is just an act to make some quick celebrity cash).

While at Radar Online, the rumor is that Eustace was actually paid to appear with Spelling and have their little chat.

Here's what Radar Online's sources have to say:

"Mary Jo was first approached by Dean at Tori's demand to see if there was any interest in coming on the show," says one of Radar Online's sources. "Producers needed a new storyline for this season, and Mary Jo's name came up."

"At first, Mary Jo said no, but began to talk to Tori about it. After being offered $10,000, and a promise that she wouldn't be portrayed as the evil ex-spouse, Mary Jo agreed."

You know, it may turn out that infidelity isn't actually the biggest of Spelling and McDermott's problems.
