After the tragic accident that killed more than a dozen fans during the Pangyo Techno Valley Festival on October 17, 4minute members HyunA and Gayoon canceled some activities for the meantime.

The two members of the K-pop girls group will not be attending the Seoul Fashion Week events, KpopStarz reports.

DKPopNews reported that 16 fans died after falling through a ventilation grate with a height of 10 meters while 4minute was performing. The K-pop stars revealed they have decided to halt their activities after the news broke out. Their decision was made to pay their respects to the victims of the accident.

According to Allkpop, concertgoers reportedly grouped on top of a ventilation grate to get a better view of the performers on stage. The grate collapsed causing the fans to fall in an underground parking structure, 10 meters below.

Most of the victims, according to KpopStarz, have been identified as young students.

HyunA was scheduled to attend the Steve J & Yoni P's October 20 fashion show while Gayoon was set to make an appearance at the Lucky Chouette 2015 S/S Collection event at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel on October 19.

4Minute's record label CUBE Entertainment, issued a statement immediately after the accident, saying the group did not know about the accident during their performance. "There is no way to measure the amount of grief in our hearts," said the company.

"The members and staff didn't know what had happened during their performance and only learned of the accident on their way back to Seoul. We hope no more people are hurt because of this incident."

In addition, DKPopNews also reported that one of the concert organizers was found dead, according to recent news.

Korean news outlet, E-Daily, reported on October 18 that a pedestrian informed police about a dead body found next to the Bundang Techno Valley Building. The person was identified as Mr. Oh, one of the organizers of the Pangyo Techno Valley Festival where.

Police officers reportedly believe that he committed suicide by jumping from the building's 10th floor rooftop.
