Is Remy Ma joining "Orange Is The New Black"? The ex-convict rapper recently revealed her sentiments about the show. According to Remy, she felt that several scenes of the show were illogical based on her experience inside the prison, Fashion & Style reported. Remy confessed that hanging out at night, for example, is not afforded to prisoners in real life. She said, "You would not be outside at that time of night without any officers around. You have to be buzzed out of every door that will lead you outside."
Consequently, she also said that there were some points in the show that were inaccurate. According to her, "You have 900 women stuck in one place. Some of them are never gonna go home. It's a very angry environment at times. You know, there's people that just walk around all day miserable. Fights do happen. I've seen them my share of crazy fights."
Remy said that if she was offered a role in the show, she would not hesitate to join the series. She told MTV, "I would actually like to be on the series. I think it'd probably give it a more realistic feel."
Meanwhile, fans of "Orange is the New Black" are no doubt excited with Season 3 as it has been reported that the hit Netflix show would be wrapping up filming before the year ends.
Lavern Cox, who bumped with the press during the MTV Video Music Awards last week, divulged that the production begun filming months ago, according to Christian Today. Cox also teased that the show will have more comedy on its story arc. She said, "It's amazing. I think more of [what we saw in season two], but what our show does so well is it has a balance between the very serious and the comedic."
The actress also revealed that shooting of Season 3 would wrap up real soon. She said, "We started shooting season three the first week of June. We should be done around the end of this year."
If the show finishes by end of this year, the Season 3 premiere will never be behind, for sure.
