Sting, who was first expected to make a debut on Monday Night Raw for Hulk Hogan's birthday celebration, may be up against The Rock, John Cena, The Undertaker, CM Punk, or Brock Lesnar.
Sting's debut is linked with several WWE fighters. CM Punk and WWE has not gotten along for months, but things may be changing as KDramaStars reports CM Punk possibly returning to WWE after a long hiatus, and his coming back may coincide with the debut of Sting.
There are also speculations that Brock Lesnar could make an appearance on either Sting's debut or CM Punk's return, shares KDramaStars. Sting was previously reported to have challenged Brock Lesnar after winning against John Cena in the Summerslam 2014.
Things might even get better if Sting is faced against both CM Punk and Lesnar. According to the article, "Fans have been buzzing for a Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar WWE World Heavyweight championship match and it seems while this is a good idea, WWE may give a curve ball by not giving them what they want but showing them something greater by hinting a triple threat match between Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Sting."
While this remains unconfirmed, KpopStarz says that Sting is already up for the video game WWE 2k15. According to the article, confirmation on his WWE announcement and debut fight might be announced after. Sting also revealed information about the WWE 2k15 game that will be available on both PS4 and Xbox One at San Diego Comic Con where he was with Hulk Hogan and Daniel Bryan. Sting was notably absent on Hogan's Monday Night Raw birthday celebration where he was first expected to make a debut.
Some are hoping that his debut will happen at the Summer Slam PPV event or that he might make an appearance in the Summer Slam panel on Saturday. According to IB Times, it will be "the ultimate legendary brawling experience for fans" should it ever happen.
Apparently, Sting could also be seen in a match against Undertaker or The Rock on 2015's Wrestlemania. IB Times also says that a match between Sting and The Undertaker would be "one of The Undertaker's first set of matchups after his loss to Brock Lesnar during Wrestlemania XXX last April." The Undertaker is yet to finish recuperating from said event.
