EXO members showed their support for their vocalist, D.O's upcoming movie "Cart." The idol group released a video message to express well wishes for their fellow member's debut on the big screen.
In the video, the group's leader, Suho, encouraged fans to come and support the film, which will be shown in theaters on November 13.
Meanwhile, Chanyeol expressed his apologies for giving the bouquet to the wrong person on SBS' music show "Inkigayo," Allkpop reports. Chanyeol was one of the show's emcees, together with his EXO brothers Suho and Baekhyun.
In the show's last part, emcee Lee Yu Bi announced that she will be leaving the show and it would be her last episode. Chanyeol is supposed to give her a bouquet as a parting gift. However, the EXO member handed the flowers to Hyunseung, whose group B2ST was hailed champion of the music show's episode.
There was a period of awkward silence with Hyunseung not knowing how to react while emcee Suho was not able to control his laughter over Chanyeol's fault. However, the hosts were able to manage the situation immediately and asked a message from the B2ST member.
However, when Lee Yu Bi was saying her goodbye message while in tears, Chanyeol managed to get the flowers back from Hyunseung. He finally gave it to his female co-host.
After the broadcast, the EXO member took to Instagram to apologize, posting a photo of a bouquet of flowers. "Everyone, I made the mistake of giving the bouquet to the wrong person during 'Inkigayo' live broadcastㅠㅠ. It happened so fast, and I apologize for the mistake and congratulations to B2ST seniors for first place, and thank you to Lee Yu Bi for her hard work, good luck with the 'Pinocchio' drama!! I'm sorry."
Meanwhile, the group is currently tailing closely behind their seniors and label mates Super Junior for MAMA 2014's Best Male Group award. As of November 10, ranking shows Super Junior received 32.5% of votes while EXO has 32.2% of votes.
It seems fans of the respective groups have been in full support of their favorite idols. At one point recently, EXO was able to grab the first rank from SuJu, who has been on the lead since voting started.
MAMA 2014 awards ceremony will be held on December 3.
