Fans of Kris (Wu Yifan) have always been on the look out for news about him through the former EXO member's social media account despite the fact that these accounts are rarely updated.

However, recently, fans of the Chinese-Canadian singer were shocked after they found out that visiting Yifan's Instagram page would only show "page cannot be found." Kris has owned the Instagram galaxy-fanfan, which fans initially thought, was deleted by the singer.

Kris has since not spoken about it nor posted anything about it through his Weibo account.

However, his friend and former trainee in SM Entertainment, Kevin Shin, spoke about what really happened, allkpop reports.

"Kris Wuyifan's instagram account as well as his e-mail account has been hacked and the instagram account has been deleted by those who have hacked it," Shin said through his Instagram account. "Kris as well as his friends, company, and management are taking every measures to find out who was behind this. Legal actions will be taken into account."

The news has been getting different reactions from fans and observers. Facebook user EXOtimes4 commented via allkpop, "I hope he make a new one soon!!!" Twitter user exo-fan3015 wrote on allkpop, "who cares? he betrayed EXO!!!"

Kris left EXO in May after filing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Kris just recorded a song for his upcoming movie. The track was titled "There is a Place" which was written by the singer himself. The song will be used as part of the OST of the movie "Somewhere We Only Know," where Kris is also part of the cast.

Photos of the singer-actor while recording the song were also released. The song was released through a live stream held at during his 24th birthday on November 6.

Meanwhile, there are no updates yet whether the former K-pop idol has found a new agency to sign with.
