After "Teen Wolf" said goodbye to Allison Argent (Crystal Reed), the show will reveal more about Deputy Parrish when it returns for season 5, but right now only speculations are available as the producers of the show are purposefully keeping everyone in the dark.
According to Air Herald, Deputy Parrish's character gets explored more in the upcoming season. Parrish, described as "a war veteran who served in the Middle East before he moved to Beacon Hills" and has "a good sense of duty," is portrayed by Ryan Kelley.
Though he may be portraying the role of the Parrish, Kelley himself admits to not knowing where the storyline is headed. In a myFanbase interview, Kelley says that some theories have his character as a dragon, though he admittedly does not know if it is true or not. "I'm kept in the dark just like everyone else," Kelley said, adding that executive producer Jeff Davis won't tell him any details.
How Parrish fits in to the story isn't known yet, but IB Times says that another theory has Parrish as Isaac Lahey's (Daniel Sharman) older brother, Camden, who is supposed to be dead. Kelley further revealed that he doesn't have any idea of Parrish's romantic connections and if there is a future for the Lydia-Parrish pairing.
So far what is known about "Teen Wolf" season 5 is that it will be back in June 2015, as reported by Hallels. Also according to the article, there will be twenty episodes in the season that was confirmed in July.
While fans are excited for the return of MTV's show based off a movie with the same title, lead actor Tyler Posey, who plays Scott McCall, may be going through a tough time. The actor revealed that he has broken up with fiancée Seana Gorlick, as reported by Us Weekly.
According to Fashion & Times, Posey unveiled the development at an interview while attending the ASPCA Cocktail Event honoring Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Nikki Reed in Los Angeles. Posey said on October 22: "We have broken up. I'm just gonna get it out there because I get sad talking about it."
Posey's love life seems to have taken a page off his onscreen romance, as his partner for several seasons, Argent, died last season. MTV recalls, "Though the group of black-clad warriors were nearly impenetrable, Allison decisively took one down with an expert shot-something nothing and no one but the Nogitsune itself had previously done-but as she turned to take on another masked soldier, she found a blade in her gut. The huntress quickly fell into Scott's arms, where she'd eventually die."
