"The park is open" - a phrase written on one of a few movie stills released by the Jurassic Park IV set. After thirteen years (except for the 1993 Jurassic Park's 3D release last year ), people will be looking forward to another Jurassic Park movie. The fourth installment to the Jurassic park franchise is finally on the rails.

Since 2009, rumors of a fourth Jurassic movie, has already been circulating, cinemablend even reports that Steven Spielberg had the sequel on his calendar while Joe Johnston, director for Jurassic Park III, also expressed his own ideas of where he wanted the franchise to turn. Albeit a June 2014 date, was initially rumored, IMDb has since updated their Jurassic World (4) entry's release date to June 12, 2015.

The movie will be directed by upcoming and newcomer Colin Trevorrow. The movie will also reportedly star Guardians of the Galaxy and Parks and Rec star Chris Pratt, and Spider-Man 3's Gwen stacy; Bryce Dallas-Howard. Ty Simpkins (Insiduous, and Insiduous: Chapter 2), and Nick Robinson (Boardwalk Empire, and The Kings of Summer) have also been reportedly casted, making rumors that 'the movie will centered on a family' a believable statement, cinemablend reports.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent antagonist, Vincent D'Onofrio, has also reportedly been casted, alongside Life of Pi, and The Amazing Spider-Man star Irrfan Khan. Although the nature of their characters have not been directly addressed, it is also rumored that Vincent D'Onofrio's character will be one of the (if not the main) antagonist to the fourth Jurassic Park installment.

Albeit taking more than a decade to get produced, Colin Trevorrow reveals that the fourth installment is definitely not a reboot. The storyline of the movie has yet to be discussed, and mentioned.

The first two Jurassic Park (Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park: The Lost World) movies were based on Michael Crichton's books with the same title and were directed by Steven Spielberg, while Jurassic Park III was not based on the book and was directed by Joe Johnston, as per IMDB.
