Did a Major Character Die on This Week's 'Revenge?' The Answer Lies in the Promos

By

"Revenge's" secrets have finally been revealed. Well, its biggest secret, anyway- there are at least a hundred or so smaller ones left lurking around this particular drama.

But finally, Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke finally told her father, who she thought was dead (but actually wasn't), that she's actually his real daughter. Of course, "Revenge" didn't give us a whole lot of time to process this information (or let David do so, either)- the reveal came at the very end of the episode, with just enough time for Victoria to make a break for it and end up electrocuted by a power line.

Think she's actually dead? It seems like kind of a ridiculous way to kill off a major character, but you never know. Although, in their own summary of the episode, Hollywood Life describes that Victoria "nearly dies," so maybe they know something we don't.

And then, TV Line refers to Victoria has having been knocked "unconscious," so it might be safe to assume that this particular powerline wasn't lethal.

However, International Business Times has the answer- they've uncovered a promo for next week's "Revenge" that shows Victoria in the hospital, alive and well.

So we can cross "death by electrocution" off the list. For now, anyway.

As well, International Business Times has early details on the next episode of "Revenge," and that it will involve David having to choose between the still-recovering Victoria and the daughter he didn't know he had until just now.

Making matters even more complicated, International Business Times also teases the appearance of a "new and mysterious" enemy coming to the series. Who will this character terrorize? We'll just have to wait and find out.

Sounds like solid fare for next week.

Check back soon for the latest on "Revenge," its fourth season, and all the spoilers within.
