The recently concluded 2014 Melon Music Awards paid tribute to female idol group Ladies' Code. The group, who lost members EunB and RiSe to a fatal accident in September, was given the "MBC Music Star Award," which is given to artists in the music industry who have made impact in the year, Koreaboo reports.

A video clip showing the group's music and promotions were played in one segment of the awards ceremony, KpopStars reports. The montage highlighted messages from the two deceased members, including EunB's wishes for the group to reach no.1 on music charts and to win this particular award. A Pink members and other idols were in tears while watching the tribute to the K-pop group.

Fans were particularly moved as the award was presented by Jun Hyun Moo and Kim Yeon Woo, who are the emcees of MBC's "Idol School," the last show that all five Ladies' Code members were seen.

The announcement of the award granted the late idol's second wish and touched many people during the event. EunB's first wish, which is for her group to reach no.1 on music charts, was previously fulfilled when all K-pop fans across the globe helped their song to reach the top spot on major charts following her and RiSe's death.

During the tribute, award presenter Jun Hyun Moo said, "I hope this award reaches you in heaven with encouragement and support." The TV host also wished the surviving Ladies' code members a fast recovery so fans can see them on stage once again.

All artists present showed their respect through a standing ovation and applause.

Remaining members Ashley, Zuny, and Sojung were not present to accept the award. The group's agency, Polaris Entertainment previously announced that the three had returned to their dorms after recovering from their injuries and staying with their families in their respective hometowns.

Meanwhile, their manager was recently arrested and is subject to investigation for speeding at the time of the tragic accident in September.
