'The Last: Naruto the Movie' is slated for December 6 release in Japan but rumor has it that the film may have an international viewing. The Naruto movie will hit Philippine theatres this 17th of December as officially announced by SM Cinema through Facebook, Kpopstarz reported. SM is one of the biggest companies in the Philipinnes which expanded to some countries in Asia.
'The Last: Naruto the Movie,' directed by Tsuneo Kobayashi, will be the tenth over-all Naruto film. The movie is the first after the "Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie" which became the highest grossing film in the franchise. This movie's release will also be a commemoration of the franchise's fifteenth year-and this will also serve as the first entry in The Start of a New Era Project. Even if the Naruto manga already ended, fans need not be dismayed because they can still look forward to a whole new adventure of Naruto and the gang.
According to Anime News Network, Naruto television anime director Hayato Date stated that there will be a Naruto special which will be aired before the film. This announcement was made in an interview for the December issue of the Gakken Publishing's Monthly Animedia magazine, wrote Kdramastars. It was also noted in the interview that fans can anticipate for the continuation of the TV series together with the new development dawning in 2015.
"Naruto's New Era Opening" will revolve around the lives of the next generation of shinobis featuring the children of Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, Sasuke and others according to Saiyan Island. In addition, the anime special to be aired on December 4 will focus on Hinata Hyūga's younger sister Hanabi and tell a story about the siblings, Kdramastars wrote.
Meanwhile, Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto's creator, shared in an interview with Asahi Shimbun of Weekly Shonen Jump some spoilers of 'The Last: Naruto the Movie,' Cross Map reported.
Kishimoto also spilled some spoilers for "The Last: Naruto the Movie."
"The latest film is a love story," he told the paper. "It will depict what happened between the 699th and 700th manga episodes. I designed the characters and helped make the story."
"Although I wanted to write about the romances of Naruto and his friends in the manga series, it was too difficult. I am not good at writing romances because I feel embarrassed when trying to do so."
The battle between Naruto and Sasuke, which is expected to be included in "The Last: Naruto the Movie," was planned from the beginning, said Kishimoto, who "later decided on the details, little by little, such as whether they would fight each other as friends or enemies, their feelings and dialogues."
