A new extended trailer of the 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' is already available and it showcases new footage of the film added to the preview. The second trailer escalates the anticipation of the fans, Latin Post reported.
Released in partnership with Samsung, the new "Age of Ultron" trailer kicks off with a voiceover: "I'm going to show you something beautiful-the whole world screaming for mercy." The sinister threat is by Ultron, played by James Spader. The trailer also closes with Ultron saying that he is free and that there are no strings attached on him-chilling words that leave the heroes and the fans with foreboding.
By the looks of it, Tony Stark has a big role in this havoc since Ultron looks like one of his creations that have gone awry. If you have seen "Iron Man 3," Tony Stark created an army of these suits to fight alongside him. For some reason, something or someone must have messed up with the system to create the super villain Ultron, and he doesn't seem to relent until he materializes his threat. However, earlier reports claimed that Tony tried to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program although it's not revealed why he does so.
The extended trailer also features a number of battle scenes with shooting and explosions abound. Our heroes' countenance also shows that they surely have a big battle to wage. Meanwhile, Hulk has gone rogue and attacks an ally armed with a Hulkbuster. As we have seen previously, it seems that Thor and Tony are still like getting along well-in fact, one of the scenes shows Thor grabbing Tony by the neck, and our mechanical hero is without his iron suit.
The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are also seen in the trailer and Latin Post thinks that they could be villains at first but would eventually have a change of heart and fight with the Avengers. Black Widow and Hawkeye also seem to play a big role in this movie, considering the number of times they appear in the trailer, Digital Trends reported. Then of course the "unbreakable" shield of Captain America gets rived. This could be an ugly way to end the film.
"The Avengers" has become one of the highest grossing films of all time breaking an opening box office record. It grossed $207 million on opening weekend and went on to gross $623 million domestically. The movie also went on to gross $1.5 billion worldwide. It was critically acclaimed and nominated for one Academy Award. Marvel hopes to attain the same success with the new film and even break another box office record, Latin Post wrote.
