Robert Downey Jr. can't seem to get his hands off billionaire Tony Stark's iron suit as he will be finding himself inside the newly polished togs for yet another installment of Iron Man.
Although Marvel made no official announcement regarding "Iron Man 4" visiting the silver screen, avid fans of RDJ can still delight themselves as their favorite mechanical hero will have an appearance in various Marvel films. Marvel has given Iron Man three appearances in the nine film offerings for 2015-2019 disclosed last week, reported Latinos Post.
Christian Today also reported that Robert Downey Jr. will transform into Iron Man in the highly-anticipated Marvel films, "Avengers: Age of Ultron" which is to be released on May 1, 2015 and "Captain America: Civil War" on May 6, 2016. This could further stretch to far-off Avengers installments as the superhero ensemble may also call for his brains and iron brawns in the future movies "Avengers: Infinity War" parts 1 and 2.
So there you have it. There will be more of RDJ in his Iron Man suit since he has become an in-demand hero for plenty of Marvel movies. You call him a necessary element for those films.
Also in an interview with Brooke Anderson of Entertainment Tonight during the BAFTA awards on October 30, Robert Downey Jr. was asked how many Marvel movies he expects to star on and he gave an interesting reply, Cinema Blend reported.
"You know, it may verge on double digits. But it will probably wind up being a little shy," RDJ said.
Still, the possibility of a solo film for your favorite hero hangs back- "Iron Man 4" is still far-fetched and we can only have our fingers crossed that the 49-year old actor will dazzle us with his high-tech combating skills for a new "Iron Man" movie.
"There isn't one in the pipe. No. there's no plan for a fourth Iron Man," Downey initially stated in an interview with Variety months back.
Just as things were becoming gloomy, Ellen DeGeneres, like she always does, fueled another beacon of hope. Using her relentless probing skills, she was able to extract some interesting things about "Iron Man 4" - and yes, the work about the solo film is in progress.
Also, Robert is very excited to share his superhero world to his daughter together with his wife Susan Levine. A baby girl will soon visit the set and probably have an appearance in one of his Dad's films, reported Coming Soon.
"I probably won't want her out of my sight very often. They might have to frame her out of scenes I'm doing, if I need her in a little Bjorn or something," he joked via Independent.
