"Jurassic World" Trailer Debuts November 27! New Site Gives Trailer Details, Viral Marketing, Hints at Wooly Mammoths for "Jurassic Park 5"

By

For all those eagerly anticipating the first trailer for "Jurassic World"- the wait is over!

Well, sort of. We still don't have the trailer, but we do have the exact date and time when it will first come online- precisely eight days from now.

This info comes courtesy of the brand-new official site for "Jurassic World," JurassicWorld.com. There's not much there right now- mostly, it's just a countdown timer for the trailer release date, a logo, a few links to "Jurassic World" on your basic social media outlets, and the current weather in "Jurassic World." Which will come in handy the next time you fly out to a fictional dinosaur island.

There are also images of small spherical vehicles on the site, which seem to confirm the presence of a gyroscope-like theme park ride first teased on a piece of promotional material a few months back.

As well, the site links to a new viral page, MasraniGlobal.com with plenty of information about the new film- images of Irrfan Khan and BD Wong as the owner and top scientific mind of the park (respectively), and details about the history of the fictional Jurassic World theme park.

According to the site, the park has been open for 10 years, but sales have been fading recently (which may explain the plot of "Jurassic World," that the scientists in charge have devised a new, genetically altered dinosaur as the star attraction). The site also confirms that the park is located on Isla Nublar, the setting of the original "Jurassic Park" film.

Most interesting, though, is a piece of info discovered by Cinema Blend. Apparently, there's info that the same corporation in charge of "Jurassic World" is headed up to Siberia, to dig up "a group of wooly mammoths buried under the permafrost."

It could just be a fun easter egg... or it could be the first clue where "Jurassic Park 5" is heading. Never too early to start teasing the next one, folks.

Check back soon for the latest news on "Jurassic World."
